Women Empowerment Motorcycle Tour
At Bikelife Israel we believe that women are strong and deserve more than what is offered to them, especially as riders. Therefore, we specifically designed a motorcycle tour for women only. I said a tour but this is not just another motorcycle tour or for that matter, a tour like any other tour. This is an empowerment tour designed to allow you, the rider, to enjoy riding in Israel while inspiring the riders and giving them special values via meeting past and present female figures who did and still make changes in the society around them. This tour is one of a kind! Don’t miss it!!

Day 1 – Sunday – Arrival
Overnight in Netanya.
Day 2 – Monday – Netanya – Haifa – Acre
Pick up your bikes at Bikelife, Netanya, have a short orientation, arrange your gear and off we go. Ride north along the coastal highway to a view point on Mt. Carmel. From there continue north to the City of Akko, a world heritage site on the Med Sea coast. From Akko we will cut east through the upper Galilee along the Lebanese border and winding roads. We will go down towards the Kinneret- Sea of Galilee. Overnight in area of the Sea of Galilee. Sites : Caesarea (1.5 hours in winter 1 hour only) Bahai Gardens viewpoint Akko – Crusaders Halls Rosh Hanikra – viewpoint only (depending on the season- only during spring and summer) Lunch in Akko (near the Crusaders Halls or Near the port. Must have parking for bikes) Overnight in either Sea of Galilee area.
Day 3 Tuesday
Today we will head further north to a lookout on the Lebanese border and the Hula valley. Depending on the season, our route will take us on a road parallel to the Jordan River. This section is an off-road trail. From here we will ride up to the Golan Heights and have lunch under Mt. Bental. Then we will ride east to Mt. Bental – a high dead volcano which gives an amazing 360 degrees view and a lookout into Syria. From here we will head to a stunning viewpoint of the Kinneret – Sea of Galilee and then go down the winding road that leads to the meeting point of the borders of Israel, Syria and Jordan. Overnight in area of the Sea of Galilee. Sea of Galilee viewpoint from the Golan HeightsOvernight in area of the Sea of Galilee. Sites: Nebi Yosha viewpoint, Bnaya viewpoint – Misgav Am, rafting on the Jordan river, Mt Bental, Sea of Galilee viewpoint from the Golan Heights.
Day 4 Wednesday
In the morning we will ride to visit the ruins of the ancient city of Beit Shean and then we will ride to the Gilboa mountain range through a scenic road that winds along the top of the mountain allowing great views of the valleys around where many biblical stories took place. From here we will ride to Jerusalem. In the late afternoon and early evening we will see some parts of Jerusalem. Overnight in Jerusalem. Sites: Beit She’an Gilboa mountains viewpoint Jerusalem -> Mt. Scopus viewpoint Day 5 Thursday On this day we will visit Jerusalem and we will try to understand why Jerusalem is so important for the Jews, Christians and Muslims. We will visit the old city as well as part of the new city. Stay in Jerusalem. Jerusalem Mt Olives viewpoint Old City tour City of David (depending on the season) Israel museum- 2nd temple time model/Shire of Books Machne Yehuda market Holocaust museum.
Day 5 Friday
Today we will ride all the way to the lowest point on earth. Visit the Jordan river and the world heritage site of Masada, a 2,000 year old fortress. Then we will descend to the Dead Sea. Overnight at the Dead Sea area. Qasr El Yahud Masada.
Day 6 Saturday
Rest day at the Dead Sea. Self-riding in the area is optional. Overnight at the Dead Sea.
Day 7 Sunday
In the morning we will ride to the Nabatian city of Avdat and learn how the people who controlled the incense trade for centuries lived in the desert. Then we will ride to Makhtesh Ramon, a unique crater like phenomenon, one of only 8 in the world. In the afternoon we will make our way to Tel Aviv. Overnight in Tel Aviv Sites : The ancient city of Avdat Makhtesh Ramon.
Day 8 Monday
On this day we will visit the old city of Jaffa and some parts of Tel Aviv. Depending on the departure flight, we will either return the bikes and go to the airport or visit another site before returning the bikes and going to the airport.

We will start the day in Tsfat, meeting a woman who will tell us about a Jewish secret, thousands of years old, to preserve the marriage. Then we will head further north for stunning view so the Hula valley. Depending on the season, our route will take us on a road parallel to the Jordan River. This section is an off-road trail. From here we will ride to a place where we can raft on the Jordan river. A short ride will take us up to the Golan Heights. After lunch in the city of Katsrin we will ride east to Mt. Bental – a high dead volcano which gives an amazing 360 degrees view and a lookout into Syria. From here we will head to a stunning viewpoint of the Kinneret – Sea of Galilee and then go down the winding road that leads to the meeting point of the borders of Israel, Syria and Jordan.

After spending some time around the Kinneret, including a short cruise on the lake, we will ride to the Gilboa mountain range for a scenic road that winds up and on top of the mountain allowing great views of the valleys around where many biblical stories took place. Then we will head to Beit Shean. After lunch we will ride to Tel Aviv-Jaffa and tour the city.

Day 5 Wednesday
In the morning we will ride east to a kibbutz right near the place where biblical story of David defeating Goliath took place and meet with an amazing family of four sisters who created Vertigo an internationally known dance group. On our way to Jerusalem we will stop at Yvel and see how Ethiopian women who immigrated to Israel from remote village learn how to be professional jewelry masters and support their families while integrating into the Israeli society. Night out at the Machen Yehuda market.

Day 6 Thursday
We will start the day with a viewpoint and then do a walking tour of the old city of Jerusalem, a holy place for three religions. We will also visit the Knesset, the Israeli parliament and meet with women who are members of the Knesset. Following that we will visit a center where women volunteer as medics saving lives using motorcycles. We will also visit the Holocaust museum.

Day 7 Friday
We will ride south to the city of Arad at 550 meters above sea level and continue down a stunning road to Masada. Here we will walk up and visit the fortress of Masada. On this day we will also have a chance to ride camels. We will end our day at the Dead Sea.

Day 8 Saturday
Rest day – optional self-riding/rest. Possible meeting and riding with the female riders of Israel in a famous riders meeting spot.
Stay at the Dead Sea
Day 9 Sunday
On our way to central Israel, we will visit a Bedouin city and meet with Bedouin women, Then, we will ride to Tel Aviv and tour the city. Return the bikes in Netanya and go to the airport for the flight home.
